Jason has spent over 25 years building enterprise software for organisations that cannot afford to get it wrong. He co-founded Capability Systems in 1995, initially providing consultancy to NatWest and AstraZeneca, and has since delivered solutions for clients including Connells Group, Schlumberger, and British Rail.
What sets Jason apart is the combination of deep technical expertise with genuine business acumen. He holds both an engineering degree from Newcastle University and a business management degree from Nottingham Trent, and is a Chartered Manager through the CMI. He does not just write code — he understands why the code matters to your business.
Today, Jason leads Capability Systems' focus on AI-powered solutions for the food manufacturing sector. Working alongside Raquel's food industry expertise, he translates complex compliance, quality, and operational challenges into intelligent software that delivers measurable results — from automating audit preparation to building predictive scheduling systems that actually work on a factory floor.

Long before AI became a boardroom buzzword, Jason was applying genetic algorithms and neural networks to solve complex optimisation problems. Today, he brings that depth of experience to agentic AI, large language models, and intelligent automation solutions for the food industry.

From cloud-native microservices on Azure to cross-platform mobile applications, Jason architects and builds complete solutions end to end.
